Our Pigeon Story
We have no secrets about our breeding stock, as of this point, they are all from Mike Ganus. In our breeding stock, we have over sixty birds from Mike and we'll keep looking for the best out of the best, where ever they are.
The AFL carefully breeds only from the greatest bloodlines, such as Creator, Rocket, Topo, Golden Mattens, Tiger Eyes, Rock Solid, Aviator, Time Machine, Mona Lisa, Kleine Dirk, Diamond Ring, Hollywood, Laura, Fieneke's Little Girl, Young Merckx, and few others.
Our goal might be an impossible one, but we will go for it and try to even improve the quality of these already great bloodlines. We want to come out with a pure racing machine!
The 2012 young bird racing season was the first time that we were testing these youngsters. At the end of the season, in a very competitive club of ours, we end up winning four times first in the club and also scored first place in the 300 mile America's International Challenge one loft race.
Of course, we understand that this was only the first season that we were ever flying these birds but it is obvious that high performances and top results are already there and, hopefully, things will get even better in the future.
The AFL looking only for the very best and starving to get that kind of pigeons in our breeding loft. Some of them include top performers like all three from the picture on the left.
In 2013, our loft received drastic improvements by obtaining Highlander, Rocket's Glomour, and Blue Diamond. They are son and daughters of Mike's best breeding hen, Mona Lisa.
The same year, we imported several world-class pigeons from Gaby Vandenabeele. Gaby needs no introduction, and of course, we are expecting to breed nothing less but champions out of his birds.
Also, in 2013, we were lucky enough to obtain several birds from Albert Derwa. Albert is a man to beat these days in Europe, especially in Belgium, where the competition is incredible. So, his birds will definitely be a huge plus for our breeding stock.
Our breeding stock contains a very large number of world-class pigeons and we stand behind the quality of every single youngster from us!
