Welcome to Ado Family Loft

I'm very glad you found my website, where I would love to introduce myself as a racing pigeon fancier to the rest of the racing pigeon world.

My name is Sead Ado Zohorovic and I'm the owner of Ado Family Loft (AFL).

My relationship with pigeons started from a very early age when I was in close touch with pigeons because of my father, who also was a pigeon fancier. Most of my "pigeon life" was related to high flyer pigeons.

However, everything changed when I became more acquainted with racing pigeons... read more

The Things You Can ALWAYS Count On With AFL

• Started from 2017, every bird that we sell is DNA tested. We guaranty for our babies’ parental. Don’t forget, all the birds that we are breeding from are also DNA tested!
• We guaranty for the health on each sold bird from us (for up to 60 days), starting from the shipping day. If anything happens and your bird dies, for any reason, we will replace it for free!
• Furthermore, if for any reason you don't like the bird you have received, send it back in 7 days and we will refund every penny you have paid, including the shipping cost. On top of that, we will pay for the shipping getting the bird back to us!
• AFL would never sell a bird that wouldn’t breed out of it ourselves. We are here to stay, and would like to see you keep coming back to us.
• Anyone who might be interested in seeing a specific bird, parents, pictures, video, or anything else, please let us know, and we will make sure you can see all of it.
• Ado Family Loft is open for visitors at any given time, just let us know that you are coming. We are always very happy to be visited.
• AFL is in constant lookout for the top-quality birds around the world, and we are always starving to bring them in, and improve our breeding lofts. We would like to mention just one thing here: We are not a breeding farm, who breeds thousands of birds, or so. Instead, we are seeing ourselves as a Breeder of Champions and other very similar Top-Quality Racing Pigeons!

Stronger Than Ever

Reaching new heights is a never-ending game, but, at this point, we believe our breeding stock has again reached a higher level of sporting glory!

We have strong evidence to comfortably claim that these three pigeons will be breeding young birds of exceptional quality. Young birds that will be able to win no matter what, since their DNA is of a quality unmatched by any other around the world!

"Soraia" Our Another Huge Addition

We are finishing this year with another huge addition to our breeding stock.

"Soraia" was an incredible racer in South African Million Dolllar Pigeon Race, and with "Ornat" and "Super 46" she will be the backbone of our African Bloodline, the bloodline that is able to compete in the hardest and toughest race imagined… and not only to compete, but WIN it!

Without any questions, these birds have proved themselves 100%, but most importantly their offspring doing as good or better, just see those incredible results!

"Ornat" Possible The Biggest Addition Yet

… and HE is here too, here in our breeding stock, Ornat himself! We had a tremendous success with the grandchildren and great grandchildren out of this cock.

So now, as we have him(self) in our own breeding loft, we feel extremely happy. Generations out of this specimen are proved time and time again, in the toughest races such as South Africa Million Dollar Race, and we all know that there are no much tougher races out there, if it’s any at all!

Not only that he raced extremely well, but also so many of his grandchildren and great grandchildren! We are going to make sure that we have a pure bloodline of this kind of birds in our loft, which should make us even more competitive in one-loft racing!

Never-Ending Improvement,
Two Children of "Jempy"

Cock and Hen direct children of “Jempy” from famous Chris Hebberecht’s Loft, are coming to our Breeding Stock. "Jempy" father of “Ike”, super class Hebberecht performer, who won:
1. Nat. acebird long distance KBDB 2010
1. prov. acebird long distance KBDB 2010
1. acebird Belgische Verstandhouding 2010
1. prov. 1,738 birds / 6. Nat. Souillac 2010 - 7,045 birds
1. prov. 2y 1,750 birds / 8. Nat. 2y Limoges - 5,607 birds
11. Nat. Limoges old 2010 - 10,448 birds
45. Nat. Brive 2010 - 16,815 birds
46. Nat. Cahors 2010 - 8,651 birds
778. Nat. Argenton 2009 - 21,092 birds
Also, father to "Falco":
11. Nat. long distance racer Belgium 4 races PIPA Ranking 2017
12. Nat. acebird long distance KBDB 2017
5. Nat. Jarnac - 5,134 birds
26. Nat Limoges - 6,492 birds

"Super 46" A Huge Addition

Promises made, promises kept. We keep brining the best we can find around, wherever they might be, and this is really big one!

“Super 46” is a fantastic hen and great addition to our breeding loft. We already knew her qualities, before we were able to bring her to our loft, since we have her son (“Russell”) for a while, who’s one of our very finest breeders!

This hen originally came from Netherland, and as a quality it’s a Europe's "Top-shelf”! You just don’t get any better than this... that easy anyway!

Firstly, we’ll be doing some close inbreeding with her, to make sure that this bloodline last in our loft, then we’ll go from there…

Two Direct Children Of "Jaws"

And once again AFL is bringing the best out of the best here in our breeding stock. This time, “Special Lady” and “Sharky”, two direct children out of this super-bird from the photo, Jaws!

"Special Lady" is Grandmother to some of ours most successful birds, such as: 39th - 150 mi, 23th - 200 mi, 37th - 300 mi, 1st* - 350 mi, 1st Average Speed, *1st 200m - Hoosier 1229 bird in race, *1st - 100 Mile Hoosier OB, 14th - 200 Mile Hoosier OB, 2nd - VICTORIA FALLS'' winning $100,000, 15th place Hoosier 350m 523b 143l, 14th place Victoria Fall 1623 b 205 km.

While "Sharky’s" son for us have won 10th plc Final Race VF 602 km, and his grandchildren have won: 16th Plc Final Race VF 602 km, *1st (12sec out) 350m Hoosier, *1st - 100 Mile Hoosier OB, *1st (7sec out) 150 m Sin City, *1st (4sec out) 200 m Sin City, *1st (7sec out) 260 m Breeder Classic, 14th - 200 Mile Hoosier OB, 1st - 200 VPC race CT, 1st - 200 VPC race CT.

Mike Ganus Visiting AFL

To have the privilege to host Mike Ganus, we are sure, would be sought after by any loft in the world. Fortunately, we just so had that distinguished opportunity in April 2018.

Showcasing our loft, our birds, and sharing conversation about pigeons in general, with such a legend of this sport, is definitely something to remember. To make it even better, Mike admitted to us that he was pleasantly surprised with what he was saw. From the loft to our birds, he complimented us that everything was top notch.

He had the opportunity to hold some of our best breeders, carefully examining them while giving his honest and expert opinion. He went as far as to say that he was very impressed with the quality of the birds in our loft! We are very thankful that Mike found a chance to swing by to see us, and once again we thank him for that!

"Jaws 1" is coming back to AFL

Remanding story…
In the extreme (raining) weather conditions, only 3 birds have arrived on the first drop!

Nearly 30 minutes before the other birds, but cause of their nervousness and tiredness they are losing around 15 minutes on the landing board before they start clocking in.
Our bird, “Jaws 1”, clocked 2nd, winning $100K!

This outstanding male is out of the same family that won for us in Pacific North West and Hoosier.
So, it's obvious that this win is not an accident, since quality cannot be an accident, we all know that!

"Hoosier Treasure" - "Jaws 1" Cousin

Remanding story…
Ado Family Loft shines once again, by winning equal 1st in Hoosier Classic.
The last and extremely tough race, but again, that’s where we at our best.

Only 2 birds on the first drop, and one of them is from our loft!
Out of 523 birds shipped to the race, only 47 are day birds! Out of these 47 day birds 4 of them are from our loft, and that includes one of our birds that flew for Andy Skwiat.
Our bird won $30K, and an addition to it is that the 14th and 15th place birds won another 4K.

The Royal Family

The Royal Family is a very small group of pigeons. This bloodline is based on just one pair of our birds, and their three carefully chosen children.

We have been extremely fortunate, firstly to have this pair, and secondly to recognize it as a tremendously quality pair, who immediately start breeding world class racers, specifically good for tough one-loft races.

Russell and African Heat are the creators of our Royal Family bloodline. When we mated them together we instantly start having champions out of them.

In just very first year of their breeding we have youngsters that were winning in the world most prestige one-loft races, such as in South Africa and Hoosier Classic.

Go Big or Go Home

We are always paying very close attention to our breeders, their youngsters’ performances and successes.

In the recent year or so, we have discovered when we mate these 5 tremendous birds, in a close circle, that they breed us racing pigeons of exceptional quality. Let put it this way: they giving us “a big-stage” winners, which are now proven internationally too, because of a tremendous success in Victoria Falls World Challenge!

We have named these 5 birds “Go Big or Go Home” bloodline, because of the obvious reason, their predominant quality. We are looking for many more champions out of these five.

Go Big or Go Home!

AFL Pigeons DNA-Guaranteed

In the name of appreciation for our customers, and for their and our own additional confidence Ado Family Loft is DNA Testing of all the young birds.

Please keep in mind that NOT only our young birds are DNA tested, but their parents and grandparents as well. That makes a minimum of 3 generations DNA tested birds, and in some cases even 4 generations!

We are proud to say that no one in the USA will give you more DNA guarantee than we do! Now, you have a choice!

In general, DNA tests compare the results of one pigeon to others from the same lineage or to current and historic ethnic groups. Taking a genealogical DNA test requires the submission of a DNA sample. After collection, the sample is mailed to a testing lab.

Ado Family Loft NEVER was questioned about such a thing for any of our birds, period. But, we also all know that in the past, it was happening to some people around the world.

So, we simple want to prevent any of that happen to our loft, and that’s why we have decided to do this additional step, to give a pure Peace of Mind to any customers when buying a bird from us.

AFL's Final Report for SAMDPR 2017

Another “African Racing Season” is behind us, and we cannot be nothing else but happy with our birds’ performance!
We all shoot for the best, but the bottom line is that at the end, we have to recognize successes which birds works so hard for. It is not always and only about winning the 1st places, because that’s simply impossible for anyone, but righter to reach that point and recognize that your birds can and are scoring wing-to-wing with the best once, and nearly, almost always, you can smell that taste of winning the whole thing, in any given time!

With that said, we are happy to report that the AFL is the only one who scored in the money in 5 out of 6 races. Furthermore, we have scored the following:
• 1st Place in 3-Bird competition
• 8th Car Average
• 4th place Knockout

Additional info about our entries in the SAMDPR are as follow:
• 24 birds sent
• 22 birds still in the loft, after the 1st inventory
• 19 birds activated and going to the 1st Car Race
• 14 birds basketed for the Final Race
• 11 birds made it back home, where 2434 birds were shipped and 1050 missing.

Once again, our birds have proved that they can compete against the very best once, and yet still be around the top!
Thanks for the hospitality to the both hosts; The South African Million Dollar and Victoria Falls World Challenge Race.

See you next year Africa!

Winning Hoosier Classic 2016

Ado Family Loft shines once again, by winning equal 1st in Hoosier Classic.
The last and extremely tough race, but again, that’s where we at our best. Click here to see our winner.

The following are the words from the Hoosier Classic:
Congratulations Southern Belle & AFL!
First Congratulations to Shane Phitides of "Southern Belle Loft" (also Southern Belle OLR) for being 1 of the 2 birds in the first drop and 1st bird in the clock! And congratulations to Ado Zohorovic from Ado Family Loft for having the 2nd bird in the drop. Click here to see the winner and me.

Rumble in The Jungle Continues

Here, we are proud once again to present our newest arrivals for our breeding stock. This is the blood that keep wining South African Million Dollar Pigeon Races for a few years in a row now.

In pigeon racing sport, continuity is the thing that proves the top quality of racing pigeons. Keep in mind, we are not talking about any kind of continuity, but we talking here about the wining continuity.

If we are looking South African Million Dollar Pigeon Races and it’s results of recent years, then there is not a second thought about the quality for these birds!

This “South African Blood” pigeons are, without a doubt, now the best pigeons in the world! If they can win the South African Million Dollar Pigeon Race, there is no question about their quality!
Everyone and anyone can win those races… all you have to do is to make sure that you too have this kind of wining blood!

Winning Pacific NW Challenge

Quality is not an accident; neither is winning such a one loft race with two nest-mate birds.
We believe that this race helped us to discovered another outstanding breeding male from our loft, “Triple 8”. This amazing cock is a son of “Wolverine” and “Abagail”, which are the same parents of “Mike Has a Very Good One”, the highest pool winning bird ever entered in South African One Million Dollar Race.

AFL will confidently enter our young birds in any one loft race, worldwide. We said that because we strongly believe that we have outstanding quality of racing pigeons, and that’s where our self-confidence is coming from.

There are no secrets, it’s all about the quality of birds. That’s why AFL is always on lookout for the best, wherever they might be, and we will try everything we can to bring them in our breeding stock!

Our 2015 additions including some of the best racing pigeons that world has to offer these days! Some of those best includes: 20 direct children of “The Big Eleven”, 8 direct children of Wolverine, 4 direct children of “Mike Has a Very Good One”.
Remember, the Future is Here! Be part of it, right now!

Just wanted to give you an update on the Mona Lisa blood I got from you. Hen # 80 was still a little young to breed early, will see how her off spring do as yearlings. But hen # 20 produced my second best young bird. I bred her to a cock from Geert Munnick's Johnny Boy from a brother/sister mating. My young bird banded 5502 won 1st Club & Combine at 300 miles and 1st Club & Combine at 250 miles. Not to shabby. My best young bird was 3rd in the state(Oklahoma). I have the #80 hen with the Munnick cock this year and will send their young to one loft races. Thanks for the high quality hens you selected for me.

Thanks for the high quality hens you selected for me!

I recently purchased some birds from Ado, and I must say the birds were outstanding. From the way he shipped the birds to the way the pedigrees were packed away everything about the transaction was outstanding. As many people know its hard to get a feel for a bird from a photo, so you really have to take the breeders word when describing the bird. When I received the birds from Ado they felt just like he said they would over the phone and better. He took the time to answer my many questions and send me multiple photos. He was straight forward in his answers and I didn't feel like he was hiding anything from me.
If you're looking for some great birds, get in contact with Ado.

Thanks again for the great birds. Cheers,
Alan T.

Thank you for your hen AU-13-ARPU-1152, direct daughter of your NEW MONA LISA. She bred me 25th equal 1st @ 200 miles CBS Mercedes Race. And TODAY bred me 12th @ 250 miles CBS Mercedes race. Also, she bred me 2 x Combine winner, in one race by 30 minutes... and only raced him twice. Can't get BETTER THAN THAT!

Hi Ado,
I just wanted to thank you for the four outstanding birds I received yesterday, could not wait to look at them again this morning. I'm 70 years young, been racing off and on for over 50 years, bought birds from all over, but never have I ever received birds like this through the mail. To all visitors,
My good friend Mike Ganus, from Ganus Family Loft, today bought the BEST Pigeons from the South Africa Million Dollar Race! He bought: the 1st place winner, 2nd place winner, and the 5th place winner! Mike also bought back his super bird "Mike Has a Very Good One", which won the following prizes this year: 19, 47, 77, 14, 147, 30, 287, 27, 14, 171, 121, 63, 28 and 53rd in the Final Race, winning over $100,000.00 in pool money! This has to be the highest winning pool bird EVER in the South Africa Million Dollar Races! Probably the best record of ALL entries for 2013, where 9,000 + birds were sent to the race this year!
We will stay in close touch with Mike and try to get some youngsters and/or relatives out of these superior birds.

Congratulations Mike!

Hi Ado,
The bird was here in Brooksville by 11:00 this morning, as i expected. She is beautiful, can't wait to have her in my breeding program. Dipped her head in some water when i took her out of the box and she didn't seem to be thirsty at all, so she came thru the shipping in great shape. Thank you and I will be following your birds on Ipigeon from time to time.

Thank you
Roger O'Neil, Spring Lake Loft, Tampa Bay Concourse.

Dear sir,
I pick up the pigeon that I bought on Ipigeon auction from you at the post office today. It's in real nice shape.

P.S. I'm bidding on another one of yours I hope I get it.

Hi Ado,
Harmony Club in Pennsylvania has an Open Bond Race each year. The front goes from NY to PA, then in the Pittsburg area and into Ohio. Miss Ado, #1086 won the race at 371 miles for me, making it four wins for her. Her Sire is AU-GA-12-4587 BB. I thank you for the complement about having good birds. They fly for me under the Dark or the Light system but when I send them out, I'm not knocking any doors down. So I'm sure that getting some birds from you will turn things around for me.

October 7, 2013

your 12-GA-4587 Blue Bar cock has bred me an outstanding youngster. I had the 4587 on an old hen and lost a lot of time with him because the hen wouldn't lay. Put him on different hen and was able to get two youngsters off him this year. Blue Bar hen #1086 (Miss ADO) is a real nice pigeon. I'm going to submit her results for the Digest Awards, I'm sure she will score somewhere. Ado, your birds have helped me win Champion Loft, Champion Bird and Average Speed. You don't need my Endorsement, your birds speak for them-self, but you may use any or all of these results.

August 28, 2013

Greetings Ado,
I picked "1146" up from the post office this morning. I am more than satisfied, she is magnificent. She is so well developed and she is only a baby. She is worth every penny and I thank you for giving me the opportunity to buy her. I am positive that she will be a great asset to my breeding program for 2014.
Thanks again.

Rusty Williams
